At a time when book bans seem to be increasing and some stories are being erased, it’s important to share our stories and amplify diverse voices. Special guest speakers include D. Watkins, acclaimed author and advocate for social change, and Devin Allen, celebrated photographer whose work captures the essence of community and resilience. This workshop seeks to encourage youth from middle and high schools to explore their own narratives and engage in creative expression that defies the constraints of impending policies and practices.
